Our Pastor's Perspective:

One of our many goals as a church (ministry) is to offer support and encouragement for the growth of believers. Education that takes place through interaction rather than isolation can be a wonderful blessing—but it can also hinder genuine growth in each child if parents, individuals, schools, or churches are not careful.

Understanding the unique nature of fostering growth in an interactive environment compels us to be intentional about what that interaction looks like. Our prayer and effort are to cultivate an environment where teachers embrace their role as partners with parents, students learn from a Biblical worldview among like-minded believers, and parents actively lead and participate in their children’s growth.

We desire to measure growth in more than just one dimension. While we can test a child’s knowledge of the curriculum or the Bible, doing so only assesses intellectual understanding. The growth we strive for is three-dimensional: Mind – Knowledge, Body – Maturity, Heart – Spirituality. With this holistic vision as our goal, our staff is trained in, and committed to, an approach to assessment that goes deeper than grading.
